"Rebgong Rongwo Monastery Molam Festival" is a 30-minute long documentary film and it talks about a Tibetan traditonal festival in Rebgong. Monlam is one of the most important Buddhist rituals that took place in Rebgong in 2010. The visual documentation is a comprehensive process of the ritual, which lasted for four days. Buddhism plays a very important role in both the spiritual life and daily lifestyle of Tibetans. In Rebgong (Southeast of Xining, the capital city of Qinghai Province), Molam is one of the most important Buddhist rituals. It is considered a holy time, and is also referred to as “Molam Prayer Gathering” initiated in 1409 by Tsong Khapa, the founder of Yellow Sect (Gelukpa School). Molam is held annually and takes place in the first two weeks of the Lunar month, from the 13th to 16th of the Tibetan New Year. During the festival, monks gather in the Great Hall and chant scriptures. They also receive offerings from local pilgrims; recite prayers, and present religious performances to local audiences. In most cases international audiences are also present. The primary goal of this ritual is to teach people how to love and cherish our lives and bring eternal peace to all kinds of sentient beings.

“Gerdi Monastery Molam Festival” is a 30-minute long documentary film that documents a traditional Tibetan festival in Zorge. Monlam was one of the most important Buddhist rituals to take place place in Zorge in 2010. The documentary was filmed in its entirety in Githi monastery, Zorge (Ruo’er gai in Chinese) County, Ngawa (Aba in Chinese pinyin) Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.
Skaldzang Monastery Enthronement Ceremony
"Kalzang Monastery Enthronement Ceremony" is a documentary that filmed in Chengduo County, Qinghai Province. This film focuses on the Enthronement Ceremony for a reincarnated Lama. The ritual lasted for five days and was edited and selected from 80 hours of raw footage.
